With more than 55 datacenters in North America, Europe and Asia, CenturyLink provides global communications, hosting, cloud and IT services. CenturyLink wanted to improve efficiency and cut costs of managing three disparate, legacy marketing platforms, by migrating to a single instance of Marketo.

The company enlisted DemandGen’s help to complete the migration in about nine months. Key steps included creating a “Tiger Team,” generating enthusiasm and establishing milestones and deadlines. The migration was complete in about nine months. The solution unified 1,500 salespeople and 150 global marketers on Marketo. Since the migration, marketing has generated 26,000 MQLs for sales—a 20% increase year over year.
