The February Modern Marketing Mashup, #MMMashup, was held at the Tower Club in the heart of the Dallas business district. Oracle Marketing Cloud brought together a mix of attendees to enjoy a night of networking and a diverse panel discussion moderated by David Lewis.
The discussion covered many topics that modern marketers are faced with today, including quality vs. quantity, creating content, knowing your audience, and data analysis. There was a great conversation revolving around creating a preferences center and the importance of communicating more effectively with your audience, be it making sure your content relevant, breaking down content into bite size pieces or the timing of your messages. Tactics for facing the challenge of not just knowing your audience, but evolving your message to speak to them over time is key to being successful with marketing automation.
