December 1, 2010 | Danville, California
DemandGen’s unique fusion of business process consulting and technology expertise continues to spark excitement in the marketing automation and CRM arenas.
David Lewis, DemandGen’s Founder and CEO Americas, was among those interviewed by IDC, the leading analyst firm, for research on cloud-based consulting firms. The group conducted a series of interviews with various cloud-based consulting firms. The study profiled three “Cloud All Stars”, including DemandGen, who demonstrated key attributes and leading practices among successful companies that are selling and supporting sales and marketing SaaS applications (such as Office 365, Eloqua, Lotuslive, Salesforce.com).
At the IDC Software Channel Leadership Council, which took place December 1, 2010 at the Sheraton Hotel in Palo Alto, California, IDC executives introduced the results of the research and shared some lessons around sales, marketing, solutions delivery and more.
Lewis participated in the Cloud All Stars panel presentation held at the Leadership Council. “We’re very proud to be considered among the best of the best in this emerging field,” he said. “As our clients’ trusted advisor, we have to have both the technical expertise and business savvy to provide prescriptive consulting.”
IDC has said it anticipates that spending on public IT cloud services will increase 30 percent from 2010 as organizations move a broader array of business applications into the cloud.
